Privacy Policy
Overview
The Executive OS ("we", "us", "the site") respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
This site is a static publication — we do not run user accounts, login systems, comment sections, or other systems that handle personal data directly.
Data we collect
Server logs
When you visit, our hosting provider (Netlify) logs basic technical information including IP address, user agent, referrer, and request timestamps. This is standard web infrastructure data used for performance and security purposes. We do not actively analyze it.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled on this site (e.g., Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar), they collect aggregated, anonymized data about page views and visitor behavior. This data is used to understand which content resonates and improve future writing. No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected.
Newsletter subscriptions
A newsletter is in preparation. When it launches, it will be hosted on a third-party email platform (Substack or similar). If you subscribe, your email address and any data you provide will go to that platform and be subject to its privacy policy. The data will be used only to deliver newsletter content. This page will be updated with the specific platform name and a link to its privacy policy when the newsletter launches.
Affiliate tracking
When you click an affiliate link on this site, the destination (Notion, Kit, Beehiiv, n8n, etc.) may set tracking cookies that attribute your eventual purchase back to us for commission purposes. These cookies are set by the third party, not by us. Each linked service has its own privacy policy.
Data we do not collect
- Names, addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details (unless you voluntarily provide them in newsletter replies or email)
- Payment information — we do not process payments on this site
- User accounts or login credentials — there is no account system
Cookies
This site itself does not set cookies for tracking. Any cookies you encounter come from third-party services we link to or embed (analytics, affiliate networks, embedded videos, etc.).
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect functionality of linked services but will not affect your ability to read this site.
Your rights
If you live in a jurisdiction with data protection rights (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Since we hold minimal data ourselves, most such requests should be directed to the upstream services (Netlify, Substack, etc.).
To reach us about privacy questions, email the address used in newsletter replies.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the site evolves. The latest version always lives at theexecutiveos.net/privacy-policy/.
